Career Management
Ground of Your Own Choosing Workshops
A two-and-a-half hour, interactive program for people who have been forced to rethink their plans because of a job loss or a change in financial or economic circumstances.
Participants will:
- Gain a new perspective on how the nature of employment has changed.
- Understand why the traditional approaches to finding a job or meaningful work can be so disappointing.
- Learn how to bring their work search skills up-to-date.
- Apply entrepreneurial strategies to managing their professional lives, including making important decisions about retirement.
This program calls on my 25 years experience in helping people move through difficult transitions to a better place in their professional lives. It is a practical application of concepts and practices described in my book, Ground of Your Own Choosing, which is provided to participants free of charge.
When sponsored by a church or community organization, this program is open to the public.
